ENSEMBLE VERTERBÆ

Ensemble Vertebræ seeks to transcend boundaries with a multi-disciplinary artistic exchange based on the broad cultural backgrounds of its members, coming from different countries of Europe and Latin America.
Founded in 2009 by the flutist Olivia Abreu and the pianist Anna Paolina Hasslacher, both of Mexican origin, Ensemble Vertebræ presents chamber music for various formations. Its creative process is based on searching, premiering and furthering contemporary innovative repertoire in musical performances, projects in collaboration with other artistic disciplines, didactic concerts, lectures and pedagogical workshops, as well as working closely with composers for new pieces.
The ensemble worked with composers such as Maurilio Cacciatore, Javier Compeán, Alireza Farhang, Ivan Fedele, Beat Furrer, Víctor Ibarra, Jeremías Iturra, Marisol Jiménez, Juan Pablo Muñoz, Luis de Pablo and Iradj Sahbaï among others.
Projects of musical and pedagogical value have been presented in different countries of Europe and America and in various contexts and festivals, such as the Cervantino International Festival (Guanajuato, Mexico) in 2015, the 28th Contemporary Music Festival in Santiago, Chile in 2018, and the 2018-2019 IGNM season in Zürich and Basel.
As a result of the constant collaboration of Ensemble Vertebræ with composers, the participation of the ensemble in the recording of Son et Sens, CD with music by Iradj Sahbaï, stands out, as well as the album Live Recordings, released in 2021 by the label Elektramusic.

PIANO LATINO

Piano Latino is a project at Strasbourg which brings together the three pianists Pablo Canales (Colombia-Chile-France), Anna Paolina Hasslacher (Mexico-France) and Fabio Godoi (Brazil) and guests mainly from Latin America.
All three are classically trained pianists and their diverse and complementary areas of activity include popular and traditional music, chamber music, contemporary music and improvisation. The key element of their commitment is the rediscovery, dissemination and transmission of the Latin American musical heritage for piano.
Piano Latino Piano Latino pursues its mission through concerts, conferences, workshops, master classes and artistic meetings. It is supplemented by an online platform intended to facilitate access to the Latin American piano repertoire. This platform is also an educational tool, since it is organized in the form of a catalog by country, level of difficulty of the compositions.

ZENTAUR QUARTETT

The Zentaur-Quartett came together in 2017 for a performance in the Munich Tonkünstlerverband’s Studio für Neue Musik series. In 2018, the Zentaur Quartet took part in the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Conversatory Competition in Berlin together with Julia Moorman as interpreters of the work “At Midnight” by Arsen Babajanyan, who was awarded 3rd prize in the composition category. In the same year, the ensemble was selected for a scholarship from the City of Munich.
The Zentaur-Quartett regularly performs at concerts in Munich, for example at Antennenglühn – Nacht der Neuen Musik in Munich’s Gasteig, as well as at Einstein Kultur and Schwere Reiter. From 2020 to 2022, the ensemble recorded 13 works from the aDevantgarde composers association. The double CD was released in June 2023 as part of the aDevantgarde Festival, where the quartet was also heard together with the Minguet Quartet.
The actual musicians of the quartet are Ronja Sophie Putz and Marc Kaufmann - violin, Katharina Schmauder – viola and Caio de Azevedo – violoncello.

ORCHESTRE SYMPHONIQUE DE HAGUENAU

The Orchestre Symphonique de Haguenau (OSH) was founded in 2006 to give musicians of various ages and levels the opportunity to practice and develop the symphonic repertoire.
Its musicians come from all over Alsace and Germany; they are semi-professionals, professionals, students and former students of music schools and conservatories. 
The geographical location in Northern Alsace makes it possible to democratize not only the practice but also the listening of symphonic music outside Strasbourg, since there are at least three concerts per year in the region of Haguenau.
The repertoire extends from the Baroque period to the present day, including film music and contemporary creations.
The OSH is variable in terms of instrumentation and thus can be reduced to the form of a simple string orchestra or expanded to a full orchestral apparatus.
It has been organized as an association since 2012 and benefits from the steady support of the city of Haguenau.
